Normally I think that I would put Kristen Stewart in the category of annoying celebrity, who falsely maintains that they hate being famous, but the more I learn about this girl --as much as she hates it-- the more I think she and I could totally hang.
As much as I initially despised your too cool, over-life attitude, it's beginning to grow on me. It's so Johnny Depp.
Kristen has proven that she is in fact an actor and not a movie starlet / celebrity, like many of her peers. Which is why I completely understand why she continues to deny her romantic relations with her unbelievably hot vampire co-star. You definitely don't want to get a reputation for dating everyone you work with. Plus, Anna Paquin already dating a hot vampire, so it's sort of passe.
(Go girl!)
You've been very responsible with your career, Kristen. I admire that.
It seems that Kristen also has reasonable taste in music, she already has a punk rock persona of sorts, which should translate nicely when she plays punk rock princess Joan Jett in the Runaways movie. (Plus she actually plays guitar).
Though she is well respected by her colleagues and obviously enjoys her craft, Kristen also isn't limiting herself to acting, and says she would also like to study literature in college and become a writer. "I want to go to college for literature. I want to be a writer. I mean, I love what I do, but it's not all I want to do -- be a professional liar for the rest of my life." Kristen told Vanity Fair in 2008. More power to you, girl! It's refreshing to see that there is at least one actress out there who can see her brand expanding through more than just perfume and lingerie.
Anyway, now I'm your fan Kristen, because I think you're smart and probably relatively normal. But most of all because I had forgotten that was you in Panic Room! Call me!
(Thanks Sophie for the pic that inspired this post! Totally sealed the deal on my fanning out!)
